Frontrunner Publishing was started a number of years ago with a view to helping South African entrepreneurs and small businesses to get started and survive in the first few years of existence. Lately it has also published books on broader business topics, such as Black Economic Empowerment.

Its best known titles deal with the basics of setting up and running your own business. Its well-known series of Pocket books has also become a useful tool for businesspeople.

The next major title will specifically focus on key financial skills for non-financial managers and entrepreneurs.

Frontrunner also produces material on commission, such as The  Global SME Business Toolkit.

Frontrunner is owned by Eric Parker, CEO of Franchising Plus, well known as a business speaker and writer, and Basil van Rooyen, Chairman of Troupant Publishers.
